Ingredients needed to make a Blue Blazer
2½ oz rye or bourbon whiskey or Brandy
2½ oz boiling water
1 tsp powdered sugar
Lemon peel
Blue Blazer Cocktail Recipe Directions
In a rocks glass add sugar and water. In pewter mugs add whiskey and set on fire. Pour back and forth. When warm add to rocks glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

This drink needs a disclaimer! I knew kid in college with a scar on his face that he allegedly got doing a flaming shot. He missed his mouth an burned his cheek! Apocryphal at best but this drink is best left to the pros!
